Cory Mitchell Mazzoni (born October 19, 1989 in Evans City, Pennsylvania) is an American professional baseball pitcher who is currently a free agent. He previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the San Diego Padres and Chicago Cubs.

Mazzoni fanned 21 in 24 1/3 innings as a high school freshman and 44 in 48 innings as a sophomore, going 4-2 with a 3.06 ERA the latter year. He improved to 11-0, 1.17 as a junior and fanned 96 in 78 innings; he also hit .352 and was named Player of the Year by the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. In 2008, he had 7-2, 1.13 record and gave up only 21 hits in 55 2/3 innings, striking out 89. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette named him All-Area.

Mazzoni opted for college and was subsequently selected by the New York Mets in the second round of the 2011 amateur draft. He was signed by scout Marlin McPhail for a reported $437,500 and made his pro debut on July 3rd of the summer for the Brooklyn Cyclones.

On March 30, 2015, Mazzoni was traded to the San Diego Padres in return for Alex Torres. He was assigned to the AAA El Paso Chihuahuas, where he put up a 1.08 ERA in 6 games, with a 13/1 K/W ratio. The Padres called him up and he made his debut on April 27th, facing the Houston Astros. Cory also appeared in eight games for the Cubs in 2018.

He is not related to pitching coach Leo Mazzone (name spelled differently).
