Chad Alan Girodo (born February 6, 1991 in Decatur, AL) is a former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Toronto Blue Jays, who drafted him in 2013 out of Mississippi State University. Girodo played in the Blue Jays' minor league organization for parts of four seasons before being called up to the Major Leagues for the first time on April 22, 2016.

He began his career by averaging more than a strikeout per inning in 23 2/3 frames for the Lansing Lugnuts in 2013, then went 7-3 with a 2.47 ERA with 81 Ks in 76 2/3 innings for the Dunedin Blue Jays in 2014. He split 2015 between Dunedin (20 G, 1.32 ERA), the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (21 G, 0.62 ERA) and Triple-A Buffalo Bisons (4 G, 6.75 ERA) to go a combined 4-2 with a 1.34 ERA in 45 games, striking out 58 batters and walking only nine in 60 1/3 innings.

He was a Florida State League Mid-Season All-Star and, after posting a 1.80 ERA in seven games for the Salt River Rafters in the Arizona Fall League, was named an AFL Rising Star. Baseball America ranked him the #16 prospect in Blue Jays system going into 2016.

He began 2016 with Buffalo, but after winning two games early in the season, earned a promotion to the majors. In his first big league appearance, on April 22nd against the Oakland Athletics, Girodo tossed two scoreless innings in a losing effort. He pitched 14 times for the Jays in what turned out to be his lone major league season, going 0-0, 4.35 over 10 1/3 innings.
